Schedule - KIHC Rendezvous 2019


Thursday- horses get settled in. 15 horses max. Bring your own panels if possible. Camping, tent or Trailer OK, no hook ups. Fairplay has a few hotels that you can call for a room if you want or AirBnB, also some campgrounds close by.

(Very busy over the Burro Days weekend, so call and reserve right away.)

Afternoon -Those that are here, can trail ride from Stamper Land, or play in arena.

Evening – Lightness in Horsemanship Lecture

Friday- Private Lightness Lessons available all week-end with Lori Araki.

Holistic Chiropractic with Kris Ahlberg available all week-end also!

Will also have Massage therapists available for Horses and Humans.

Morning- 9 to noon Free Lightness Clinic Part 1 with Lori Araki

Noon- Lunch together (bring your own sack lunch)

Discussions Q & A

2-4 Drill team practice for the Equine Talent Show with Chrissy Kipple(She is famous for her drill team choreography for the Mane Event, andperformances with her Fjord, Blake!)

Evening – Potluck Dinner, bring dish to share

Lecture on Compassionate Horsemanship

Saturday- last day to get ready for Parade, costumes (Norse fairies, wood nymphs, etc.)

Morning – 9 to noon Free Lightness Clinic part 2 with Lori Araki

Noon – Lunch (bring your own sack lunch)

2-4 Drill team rehearsal with Chrissy Kipple

Evening – KIHC BBQ Dinner together and Annual Meeting, campfire and singing, Special Club Song!

Sunday- We will need volunteers to hand out KIHC brochures, so if you and your horse are not ready for the crazy of a parade, consider dressing up and walking along with us. We will need folks to carry a banner also. We will also need volunteers to stay at fairgrounds to keep eye on horses that are not in parade, but will be in the show.


10:15 trailer to Fairgrounds

11:00 line up for Parade

12 ish Ride back to Fairgrounds following the parade.

Equine talent show, and Drill performance by KIHC

Talent Show will be 2-3 hours and lots of fun talent!

We will have some food vendors at the show.

Return home or stay one more night and drive home Monday in the Morning.
